“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
― Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
My name is Danielle and I help people make sense out of life’s plot twists. I possess keen insights, I am grounded in reality, and see life through a lens of common sense. I use humor and show up for my clients in a way that is true and authentic. I am intentional and I work from the soul.
STYLE & APPROACH
My style is not straight out of a textbook & I do not believe there is a “one size fits all” approach to counseling. My methods are not focused on helping to manage symptoms but to help identify root cause(s). I work with clients to help develop their own proprietary blend of tools & solutions with a personalized approach geared towards empowering them by: identifying inherent strengths, cultivate resiliency, craft solutions and create or find meaning.

No, I Don’t Take Insurance—Here’s Why
Confidentiality & Privacy
Opting for private-pay psychotherapy removes the involvement of third-party entities (i.e. insurance companies) in the care and financial decisions related to psychotherapy. Your sessions remain entirely private between you and your therapist. Insurance claims, on the other hand, require the submission of a diagnosis, which becomes a part of your permanent health record.
No Diagnosis Required
With private pay psychotherapy, the focus is not on labeling with a diagnosis in the medical model, but with the wellness model without pressure to pathologize the normal human experience. This allows therapists to concentrate on promoting overall well-being rather than solely addressing specific symptoms.
